Hey people that reads my blog! I am finally going to talk about the Youth Academy. Remember, this is a feature of the career mode of Fifa 12. Since I knew about this feature, I didnt stop investigating about it, and know that I got Fifa 12 I can’t stop playing the career mode.
First, if you didn’t know, Fifa 12 has a career mode that simulates the job of a trainer or a player in the real life. It’s a mode were you play the matches of the team you chose, you can buy soccer players for the team, you can manage your team, and finally you can manage an academy where you train young promises. How does this function? You may hire a scout first, and them give him work scouting in a country. While you do a normal career mode, your scout will give you monthly reports. These reports have the names of young players with the estimation of his stats and the estimation of his potential. Then you can decide either to hire players or to continue scouting.
After you hire young promises, at the age of 16 you can give them a place in the first team, unless you think they aren’t prepared, you leave them in the Academy any longer. So, why do I like this feature the most? Well, I love to manage anything, and the idea of managing the development of a young promise makes me feel important. I mean, everything that happens with the development of that kid will be my responsibility. So, I can decide to give them minutes of play, or to wait a little longer, I can do anything I decide is the best for that kid.
Well, may be a little weird but is one of the things I like the most. Keep reading the blog, there will be new themes.
Hello again Goyo. It is interesting to know about a new feature that Fifa 12 has, actually this is one of the main differences between Fifa 11 and Fifa 12, right? So, basically career mode is entering to the Youth Academy and start training kids in order to construct your team later, no? This seems interesting in the fact that you can hire different people, select them according to their skills and train them. Also, I suppose that it is funny because you decide if the kids of your academy play a game, rest or do another thing. Actually I think that is interesting because you can live the experience of managing a team with its problems and its different types of players.
ResponderEliminarMoreover, according to the first steps that you mentioned for having a Young Academy, I think that the scout maybe is not necessary because it is easier to hire the players by yourself. Actually this could give to the game more complexity and therefore it will be more interesting. On the other hand, maybe the scout could be implemented in future versions of the game as an option which you can turn on or off. Also, this new feature of the Fifa 12 reminds me the pokemon games that I used to play. In these games the player must catch a pokemon and then he needs to raise its levels in order to participate in contests or to catch other pokemons. Yes, I know that the comparison is a little bit weird but this new feature of the Fifa reminds me that. Good post Goyo, see you later, bye.
